Founded by a hardworking husband and wife team. Inland Empire provides assisted wheelchair and stretcher transportation to those with mobility challenges.
With a background in Home Care this couple learned early on they wanted to be involved and give back to their community. However, it wasn’t until a family member experienced a tragic accident requiring her to use assisted transportation for travel, that they realized the need for quality medical transportation. In witnessing and becoming frustrated with lengthy wait times, protracted delays, and less than reputable drivers, this couple was determined to create a more timely and reliable assisted transportation solution for their community.
Unlike other providers operating as a curb-to-curb service, Inland Empire is committed to safely escorting you or your loved one from residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and reliable ADA complaint vehicle. On arrival at your destination, Inland Empire’s trained staff will escort you to check-in to ensure a timely arrival.
In leveraging years of professional training and experience both as an employee and business owner, they continue to build and cultivate strategic relationships with area staff, patients, and families. We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.
We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.
Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
